Lotawana Sailing
Lake Lotawana is home to competitive fleets of C scows, MC's and butterflies. Weekends find the water busy with C and MC boats while the social butterflies take to the lake on Wednesday mornings. We offer a children's program during the summer too.
A big part of Lotawana Sailing is also introducing new sailors to the thrill and challenge of sailing. Approach any MC sailor with a free beer and they will happily help get you started. Approach a C sailor cautiously, if at all, with rum. Regatta sailors always end up sharing tall tales in the Sailor's Bar at the Club.
Spencer Brackman, a talented sailor, former Commodore, and lake resident who grew up on the lake, is our current chairperson for MYC Sailing.
